I’ve no doubt that your course was super busy, and you barely had time to draw breath, let alone think about the incredibly important thing that’s happening this Friday.
Yes, that’s right – the first day of the General Data Protection Regulations.
On May 25th, these new regulations come into force, and let’s face it, most clubs haven’t got a clue what they need to do to be compliant when it comes to their employees’ data.
But don’t fret – I’ve written something that explains exactly what you need to do, but you’ll need to act fast to get hold of it.
Just to be crystal clear, I’m not one of those ‘GDPR Consultants’ who’s going to tell you how GDPR will affect your marketing – my advice is strictly concerned with how GDPR impacts your staff and the data you hold on them.
You also need to make clear to your employees that they also have to follow the GDPR whilst working for you. That is covered here as well.
